The assemblage is based on a finest quality Chardonnays of the same vintage harvested in different parts of the Abrau- Durso vineyards. The grapes are harvested with special care so as not to damage the berries and stems, and are kept cold before pressing. Second fermentation takes place in deep mountain tunnels. Riddling is done both manually and automatically. The wine is aged on lees for about 3 to 4 years.

Brut d'Or Blanc de Blancs 2018 has a rich bouquet with juicy notes of ripe apples and pears, subtle hints of white flowers, and nuances of brioche and butter; it has a rounded, rich and voluminous taste, and an invigorating and memorable fruit aftertaste.

Tasting Note

Colour: enticing pale golden colour with a straw sheen and an intense persistent thread of fine bubbles.
Aroma: fresh and intense, with notes of buttery pastry, brioche and white flowers, underpinned by a zesty freshness of fruit tones.
Taste: softly mouth-filling, fresh and harmonious, with a creamy texture, complex mineral notes and fruity citrus tones balance beautifully in the aftertaste.
