About the Wine: A great wine with intense and complex aromas. The quintessence of the Boizel Savoir Faire. The robe is brilliant golden yellow, with fine, creamy mousse and a delicate persistant cordon. The bouquet is intense, concentrated with fresh floral fragrances, magnificent and mature fruit aromas (pineapple, apricot). Some rare vegetal hints appears with candied citrus and beautiful notes of dried fruits, almonds, hazelnuts and sweet spices. The mouth integrates with finesse the complex aromatic register. The fruit aromas are confirmed (pineapple, apricot and are enriched by subtle nuances of cassis, cherries and exquisite notes of orange with a light and welcomed bitterness. The finish is long, reflecting the fine balance between purity, freshness, richness and complexity.

About the Wine: A very pleasantly dry prosecco with a herbaceous and fruit forward bouquet. Brilliant pale straw colour and plenty of fine softly arising bubbles, with a delicious sage bouquet and fresh fruit scents.
About the Winery: Antonio Franco founded the “Cantine Franco” winery in Valdobbiadene in 1919. Valdobbiadene is located at the foot of the Prealps, in the Venetian region, and is famous for the Prosecco vine and wine production. Thanks to a careful and wise management, the estate has been growing and evolving throughout three generations of producers. Antonio founded it, Nino expanded it and Primo improved the company performance throughout the years. 1982, when Primo took over its management, was the turning point. Primo Franco was one of the first pioneers to export the Prosecco and to introduce a different sparkling wine than Champagne into the international market. He has been successful, thanks to his open mind personality, his spontaneity, reliability and competence as well as his charm and ability to communicate his love for his job, and last but not least thanks to his high quality and delicious wines

For the Big and Bold
Region: Portugal, Douro

About the Wine: The 2012 Vintage Port was aged in second- and third-year French Allier oak for 12 months. It was bottled in September, 2014, and comes in at 101 grams per lliter of residual sugar. It is a blend of 60% Touriga Franca, 20% Touriga Nacional, and small dollops of several other grapes typical to the region. The average vine age here is 30 years old. Charming, fresh and pure, this is an elegant Port that has restrained power and sweetness on the finish. There is a table wine feel to it at times. In 2012, a vintage that was rather on the lighter side for most of Douro, there may not be as many powerhouses, but this finishes well and tastes great. It should be approachable fairly young, but you would be well advised to cellar it for several years for best results. Granting that it is not the most concentrated Port you’ll see, its elegance makes it very appealing.
About the Winery: In 1877, Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, owner of the largest winemaking estate in the Douro, purchased 300 hectares of virgin land at auction from the Vila Nova de Foz Côa municipality. Her dream was to create a model vineyard from nothing, using for this the vast experience she had acquired throughout a lifetime as a Douro landowner. This ambitious project took eight years to complete, from 1887 to 1895. Since then, the estate always remained in the hands of her descendants.

For the Man OF THE HOUSE

About the Wine: Cherry red in colour, against a dark background with slight purple edging. Deep, intense colouring. On the nose, very intense and voluminous, yet elegant and polished. The fruits of the vineyard and the grape harvest stand out strongly against the hint of ripeness, which is detected at the bottom. Blackberries and damsons are clearly identificable against a background impression of aromatic plants flowering in the pine forest. A deep mineral note rounds off the aromatic profile of this magnificent wine. On the palate, voluminous, ample, filling the mouth with black fruits that give way to notes of aromatic plants and earthiness. The wine finishes with a deep freshness, reminiscent of special qualities of the land during an excellent year.
About the Winery: Bodegas Roda undertakes a new adventure. After a trajectory over twenty years, which has become by its consolidated work of the R&D research, one of the most prestigious wineries in the D.O.Ca Rioja, Roda proposes to exploit the knowledge and experience to diversify in the D.O. Ribera del Duero with Bodegas La Horra. The diversification of the company began in 1999 with the olive oil. Nowadays, Bodegas Roda produces two olive oil plots: Dauro in the Empordà and Aubocassa in Majorca. The new company will exploit the existing synergies in the R&D research and the commercial distribution of Roda, Dauro and Aubocassa, products available in 55 countries.
