New Ubin Seafood’s humble beginnings can be traced back to the quaint little island, Pulau Ubin, where the restaurant opened its doors in 1986. It was there that they have developed a reputation for serving fresh, authentic and gourmet seafood dishes in a laid-back and calming environment.

Today, New Ubin Seafood has moved closer to the heartlands, nestled in the rustic district of Thomson, along Sin Ming road where they have continued their tradition of serving sumptuous and authentic Singaporean cuisine in a casual, family friendly ambience.
Over the years, innovation and experimentation has prompted New Ubin Seafood to re-present their wholesome menu, showcasing a Singaporean’s take on American, French, Italian and Indian cuisine. This signature fusion of various international cuisines and the Singaporean ‘Zi Char’ has proved to be a hit with the locals.
U.S Angus Ribeye Steak
Never would I have imagined that a ‘Zi Char’ place would serve up Angus Rib-Eye. Succulent, tender and every mouthful filled with juice, the Angus Rib-Eye is perfected charred on the outside, yet maintaining a tenderizing medium-rare consistency. Perfect with a bottle of Bodegas Emilio Moro 2013.
Beef Fried Rice
With each order of the Angus Rib-Eye Steak, a plate of signature beef fried rice is also served up. The fried rice is cooked claypot style with the charred fat (burnt ends) of the steak.
This special dish is only available with the Angus Rib-Eye order.
Soft Boiled Egg with Foie Gras
Another dish that is surprising for a ‘Zi Char’ place to have – The Soft Boiled Egg with Foie Gras dedicates to delight your taste buds. A 60 minute slowcooked egg, served with truffle salt and a generous slice of foie gras. A unique fusion that you never would have imagined possible!
It takes about 60 minutes to prepare this dish, therefore it is mandatory that it is preordered in advance, or be prepared to wait.
