The White Rabbit

The White Rabbit is a restaurant and bar housed in a beautifully restored 1930s chapel that has become a landmark of Dempsey Hill. Opened in 2008 by the Lo & Behold Group , The White Rabbit combines classic European cuisine and anachronistic architecture to transport all who travel down its proverbial rabbit hole to another world.

The group also owns several dining establishments such as Loof, Overeasy, Tanjong Beach Club, Extra Virgin Pizza, The Black Swan and The Powder Room.

Helmed by Head Chef Benjamin Tan, their menu is a carefully curated tribute to the timeless recipes and traditions of yesteryear. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, The White Rabbit’s verdant surroundings and rich history takes guests into a world of whimsy and wonder, away from life in the concrete jungle.

The White Rabbit has become one of Singapore’s leading classic institutions since opening in 2008.


Wagyu Carpaccio

Grain-fed Australian Wagyu from Fold Medal Winning producers Rangers Valley, the delicate, tender and exquisite the Wagyu Carpaccio ($28++) is the perfect appetizer to start your meal. This Wagyu dish presents a harmonious marriage of flavours with mouthful spurts of balsamic pearls, shaved truffles and wagyu. Grain-fed Australian Wagyu from Fold Medal Winning producers Rangers Valley. It was featured as one of SG Magazine’s 50 Things to Eat Before You Die in 2014.


36-Hour Brandt Shortribs

Made with beef sourced from a Brandt, a boutique ranch in California, served with truffle miso glaze, parsnip purée and field mushrooms. As its name suggests, the Beef Short Ribs ($48++) are broiled for a good 36 hours, to ensure that flavours are absorbed deeply into the meat.

The 36-hour Brandt Shortribs was actually on the very first menu of The White Rabbit. However, it was taken-off menu for a year of R&D under Head Chef Benjamin Tan to achieve true perfection in flavour and texture. Its now back, and only better!


Deconstructed Cheesecake

An airy delight, the Deconstructed Cheesecake ($18++) is Chef Benjamin’s rendition on the rich, dense and classic dessert. A picturesque fluff atop a bed of graham crackers and complimented by a blueberry sorbet, the dessert cannot look any more vibrant. It is an elegant reimagining as the antithesis to the typical heavy, rich versions of cheesecake. Put your palates to the perfect finish by having a go at the Deconstructed Cheesecake.
