RODA cultivates 120 hectares of vineyard, 70 of those are self-owned and the 50 hectares left are from local growers with which we have different agreements. They are distributed in different ecosystems that go from altitudes of 380m to 650m above sea level. Represents of one the two profiles of the ripening of Tempranillo: the red fruit.

In RODA we look for the parcels that that year have ripened in a red fruit profile, with the expression of the aromas present in the edge of the glass, ready to be felt immediately; with sweet spice notes and a kind freshness. In the mouth the red fruit carries the importance, with a fresh, long, silky, voluptuous and continuous mouth pass. Before vintage 2002, RODA was called RODA II.

Tasting Note

High-medium intensity layer, very well covered. The background is the colour of picota cherry and the rim is red.
It has good aromatic intensity and is very comfortable, with the wood impeccably assembled. The profile is of red fruit and some black flashes can be appreciated. The ripe cherry stands out mixed with the memory of sweet spices and light notes of cocoa. There is a certain floral note of violets, together with the sensation of a bouquet of aromatic plants reminiscent of a walk in the countryside.
It has good volume, it is wide, with very good quality tannin, still somewhat present. It is noticeable that it comes from a great vintage, such as 2021. It is very long and with a lot of presence, highlighting the freshness. A tasty wine, full of nuances. A Roda with character that has a certain proximity to the profile of Roda I.
