A gorgeous, beguiling, utterly exotic white wine. A gorgeous, expressive wine, the Rami is loaded with pure class. Rami was originally called Ramingallo which is the name of an area near Agrigento, Sicily. The wine has no connection to that area other than that Giusto and Giambattiasta liked the name Ramingallo! Gallo had an issue with their having ""gallo"" in the name and so they had to change the name to just Rami. Think of the sun - it's in every bottle of Rami. Vibrant and lively, yet textured and drying. Seeing as the wine has a few days skin contact, I think the flavours come from both the sun and the skins. It's seriously delicious!
- ColorGorgeous straw-yellow color in the glass, with golden reflections
- NoseA complex bouquet of wild herbs, almonds, apricot and candied lemons reveals itself on the nose, while the flavors in the mouth are quite consistent with these aromas.
- PalateOn the palate, this wine offers an excellent acidity and a gorgeous volume. Powerful tannins continue into a persistent finish, which is marked by a mineral, iodized aftertaste.
