The “Granato” is dedicated to this ideal blend, an especially concentrated and dense Teroldego that takes root from the stones of five different vineyards of the Campo Rotaliano. Teroldego can age brilliantly and especially so when in the hands of such an able winemaker as Elisabetta Foradori. A special year, this vintage shows plenty of the sunlight that dominated the year. Plush dark fruits, plenty of acidity and clearly a wine that will evolve marvelously for decades.

Tasting Note

Dark color
Nose exuding notes of black berries, licorice and pomegranate, along with touches of undergrow
The palate is full bodied, concentrated and particularly refined. It will take several years for the tannins to integrate fully: Elisabetti Foradori herself estimates that these wines will reach their peak in 7-8 years' time.
