Red Wine. 100% Barbera. Blend of grapes from various vineyards of the Monfalletto Estate in Lamorrese and Roero. Differing altitudes and exposures lend to a complexity of aromas. Varying ages of vines, from clay and sandy soils.
The strong purple Barbera d 'Alba DOC of Cordero di Montezemolo can be counted among the very large wines of its grape variety. It matured for eight months in oak barrels and pampered with a bouquet full of strong aromas of fruits, licorice, spices and chocolate.
The rich palate unfolds a lush and fresh taste as well as soft, warm, beautifully integrated tannin.
- Beautiful cherry-red coloured wine with intense ruby tones
- Complex fruity bouquet (mulberry, currant, plums, hints of cacao and leather with spicy, peppery scents)
- Full bodied with a lingering aftertaste of quince, you’ll find mineral and balsamic tones that remind you of the terroir
- Roast Duck
