This is an appealing, well structured Chardonnay with generous aromas of toast, honey and ripe tropical fruits. A buttery, rich wine with gently oaky flavors on the palate, it matches well with fish, salads and white meat dishes.
The first Antiguas Reservas Chardonnay of Cousiño Macul was made in 1969.
Since then, the trademark applies to the appointment of a selection of Chardonnay that represents the finest vintage. The selection process begins in
the vineyard with the restriction of yield per plant and continues throughout the
entire winemaking process.
