Elegant and mineral, Jabal de Bargylus is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, gently aged in oak barrels for 6 to 8 months. It is made with the same qualitative criteria as its ‘older brother’ Bargylus. Cited by Pliny the Elder, Mount-Bargylus was richly covered with vines during the greco-roman era.

"JA-B-AL de Bargylus" translates to "Mountain of Bargylus" in Arabic, referring to the mountainous region where the wine is produced, specifically the "Jabal Ansarrieh" mountain range in Syria, also known historically as "Bargylus"
