The Wine
The wine has a lovely, deep colour with a carmine tint. The nose is rich and expressive, which displays red fruit aromas along with some more spicy notes. Well-structured on the palate, it builds on nicely balanced tannins, revealing liquorice, coffee and blackcurrant flavours. The long, flavoursome finish holds out the harmony of this powerful warmly generous wine.

Chateau La Fleur Milon is a fifth growth estate in Pauillac. The 30 acre estate traces its beginnings back several centuries but in 2004 it was purchased by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild of the legendary Rothschild family. Chateau La Fleur borders several of the Rothschilds’ other estates in Bordeaux, which include Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Chateau d’Armailhac and Chateau Clerc Milon. Chateau La Fleur is planted to 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cab Franc and Petit Verdot.
