Attractive aromas of fruitcake, spice box, blackberries, and black cherries emerge from this blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. Well-balanced and fresh with wonderful vivacity and elegance on the palate, it should drink well for 10 years.
In 1998 Clos Manou made its first wine; a wine like the ones they like to drink, made with attention and thoroughness, a very precise wine, like the ones you also drink. This first harvest affirms their vision of offering the the best. To become real winemakers, they had to become winegrowers, and build vineyard. So, in the last 15 years, besides their own production and in order to acquire new vines, they created a Wine Estate managing department.
Step by step during 15 years, they found nice soils with exclusively high density vines, around the 10000 vines per hectare. Through the years, the domain grew, with the same passion, the same search of optimization, precision and thoroughness… from 0,12 to 18 hectares today, through the buying of a 4 hectares cru artisan and a 7 hectare cur bourgeois.
