The Wine
Vibrant ruby red, this youthful wine has perfumes full of rich cherry and plum fruit. The lifted palate is packed with attractive juicy fruit and is given great texture by the supple, approachable tannins. The finish is long and inviting. Grapes for this wine were grown in the Ormeggio, Castagnola and Belvedere vineyards in Lessona in the Orolungo region.

"Making wine is a deeply human and cultural deed. Good wine is part of the history of a place, of the collective and of the person who makes it."

Proprieta Sperino is located in the small town of Lessona, near Biella, in the foothills of the Alps of Northern Piemonte. This is a region that boasts a long viticultural tradition and by the end of the 19th century, more than 40,000 hectares of vine were planted in this area.
