With its roots so deeply ensconced in the foundations of Sonoma where it was established in 1857, Buena Vista Winery is again introducing wines from the North Coast. These wines include a diverse array of varietals that celebrate the diversity of the North Coast’s terroir and the contribution of Buena Vista to establishing the California wine world. This enjoyable Pinot Noir is sourced from vineyards in Sonoma and Lake Counties, including vineyards in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Valley and Carneros – all part of California’s distinctive North Coast appellation.

2020 kicked o with ideal growing conditions. Mild temperatures led to evenly developed clusters and an early budbreak was followed by a warm to hot summer. Low winter rains resulted in smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Harvest was in early August and all things pointed to normal yields and exceptional fruit quality.
