A class of wine, this elegant O Chao from winery Valdesil from Spain. This beautiful white wine, straw yellow in color, is subtle and elegant on the nose. The O Chao wine is almost a collector's item because only 662 bottles are produced per year.

The O Chao vineyard is the only one with a sandy granitic soil, unlike the other wines (Montenovo, Valdesil, Pezas da Portela and Pedrouzos) that were then produced by Valdesil. The grapes for those wines all grew on a slate bottom.
This made the O Chao wine the first wine that Valdesil released from a different soil.
