The Wine
Attractive, deep garnet in colour. Highly perfumed on the nose offering complex aromas of fresh red fruit notes, spices and precious woods. A fine tannic structure for such a generous, velvety, highly-concentrated palate. This Belgrave 2011 reveals freshness and elegance in true Saint-Julien style – a very attractive wine!
Since 1979, the winemakers have been extremely privileged to mange this traditionally large Chateau Belgrave estate, which is amongst the finest in Medoc. This immense responsibility, endless source of investment and continued and never truly assuaged quest for perfection, brings with it the immense satisfaction of expressing the true character of the soils and revealing in our wine the refinement, depth and personality of an outstanding terroir.
