Valdesil is a small family winery with a great history, with more than six generations of the same family dedicated to viticulture and winemaking in Galicia. In fact, they own what are widely considered to be the oldest Godello vineyards in the appellation, particularly Pedrouzos which was planted in 1885, just after the phylloxera plague. In Europe, the vintners are very busy preparing for the work around the vineyards and several wine fairs that typically take place from March to May, but we managed to catch up with one of their winemakers to share more about their award-winning labels.
